The following Vessel Safety Check (VSC) is presented to the public as a preliminary check and does not constitute United States Coast Guard or United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Certification.  After complying with the items on this list, the boat owner should contact the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and schedule a vessel examination by a qualified Vessel Examiner (VE).  The second link shown below will direct you to a qualified vessel examiner.
